Box with small paddock, among others, on the Treidelhof in Stahnsdorf
€650 – €850 · Stahnsdorf
Description
As guest horses, we warmly welcome mares for covering and course participant horses.
Since health is very important to us, guest mares, course horses, and all other newcomers are stabled in quarantine.
Quarantine
To protect all horses on our premises, we have introduced a quarantine requirement.
All horses that come to the facility must be vaccinated against influenza and tetanus; mares for covering must be vaccinated against herpes and have a nasal swab taken.
Additionally, all horses are placed in quarantine for 2 weeks upon arrival.
During this time, for later boarding horses that are to be integrated into a group after the quarantine period, their temperature must be taken daily and a nasal swab to rule out a herpes infection will be examined. The horses and riders/owners may not have direct contact with the other horses on the Treidelhof and therefore may not be groomed at the communal grooming stations, nor may they use the saltwater spa or the horse walker. However, they can of course be ridden and exercised in the indoor arena or on the outdoor arena at designated times.
Boarding horses on the Treidelhof
For boarding horses, either boxes with small paddocks or large barn boxes as well as pastures are available.
A tack room is available for equipment. The tack room is gently heated via the floor. A saddle rack can also be used.
For wet horse blankets, a blanket holder is available.
Additional feed may be stored in a dedicated boarding horse feed room.
Various paved grooming and washing areas are available for cleaning the horses.
For muscle relaxation, the horses have a solarium, the use of which is included in the boarding price.
For maintaining the horses' health, we offer sessions in the horse walker and the saltwater spa as additional paid services provided by us. Weight monitoring on the in-house horse scale can also be done by us.
For shared enjoyment, horse and rider have a wonderful flood-and-ebb outdoor arena, a lunging arena, the soon-to-be-finished indoor arena, and for further training, the horse walker.
Directly adjacent to the farm is a vast hacking area, past our pastures and further across fields.
We take care! Vaccinations, deworming, and minor veterinary services - these services are carried out automatically by our on-site veterinary practice after prior notification. No additional travel costs are incurred. We can also provide minor veterinary services upon personal request for a fee.
