Our Training Philosophy
Time and calm is our motto. All horses on the farm are kept either in open stables or in boxes with paddocks; in summer, they all have extensive turnout. The horses can observe everything that happens on a farm. They are confronted with everything, from large tractors, construction machinery, tarps for covering hay bales, and of course dogs. The daily work routine with all the large equipment and noises takes place in front of our horses' eyes and gets them used to all these things. But they also have extensive rest periods and can maintain social contact with neighboring horses.
Our horses are all fed individually with the best feed, specifically tailored to the needs of each horse.
The training and sales horses are regularly cared for by a veterinarian, chiropractor, and dentist in consultation with the owner. Deworming and vaccinations are also part of the program.
Our training goal is a reliable, fearless, and calm horse that is characterized by light-footedness, willingness to move, and obedience. You are welcome to come to us for training and further education, or to further your education together with your horse.
