Description
Cashmere is the perfect gentleman. Enchantingly handsome, extremely likeable, simply uncomplicated and lovable, Cashmere impresses with outstanding course quality as well as first-class riding comfort and character.
In 2020, Cashmere shone with a silver medal in the final of the Bundeschampionat for five-year-old show jumpers under Marco Kutscher. Currently, Cashmere is delighting audiences with his first international successes, including in the Youngster Tour of San Giovanni in Marignano/ITA.
In the arena, Cashmere presents himself with great scope, elasticity, and an incredibly appealing bascule. His lightness of foot, natural looseness, and modernity give him the excellent physical prerequisites for mastering the most technically demanding courses. Add to that Cashmere's motivation, rideability, and great attitude towards sport, which make the riding experience a true pleasure. Already in his HLP sport test, Cashmere's excellent canter and rideability were praised with a score of 9.0. Overall, he received a jumping-oriented final score of 8.71. In his 14-day test, Cashmere underscored his dual aptitude with a jumping-oriented final score of 8.43 and a dressage-oriented final score of 8.14. At his licensing in Westphalia, Cashmere caused a stir with the title of premium and reserve champion stallion.
Cashmere's offspring often impress with the same charming look as their sire. Often colorful, with beautiful faces, big eyes, and impeccable exteriors, Cashmere's children are very special, unmistakable eye-catchers. Cashmere does not carry the red factor, meaning his offspring never have the chestnut color.
His progeny present themselves with very good movement, which would certainly open up a dual career in dressage and jumping for Cashmere himself, who also celebrated successes in riding horse classes in his youth. Cashmere's offspring are very pleasing due to their lovable and uncomplicated nature.
His sire Cristallo I himself impressed in international top sport under world champion Henrik von Eckermann. Over 60 S-level successful offspring and 12 licensed sons provide impressive evidence of the breeding power of this guarantee of success.
In the second generation, Contender, one of the most successful stamping stallions in Holstein breeding history, follows. Contender's offspring present an impressive lifetime winnings of around 11.2 million euros. 130 of his sons are licensed.
Furthermore, Cashmere combines the highly successful combination of Holstein C and L bloodlines in his veins. With the direct Ladykiller xx son Lorenz, Cashmere's pedigree is supported by another S-level successful performance guarantee. In the fourth generation, none other than the line founder Cor de la Bryère completes the exquisite bloodline.
On the dam's side, coming from the highly successful Holstein dam line 1094, Cashmere is a true gem from a breeding perspective. From the immediate family come a whole series of sport stars successful at 1.60 m courses.
His dam Novice also gave life to the licensed Bundeschampionat finalist Carento and the S-level successful Capriole. In total, an impressive eight offspring of Novice are successful in sport.
Granddam Bordela impressed with an extraordinary breeding performance. With Lukas and Champion, she produced two offspring successful in 1.60 m jumping for international top sport. Five more offspring successful in S-level jumping make Bordela an absolute top broodmare.
Great-granddam Ordela also immortalized herself in Holstein breeding history through outstandingly sport-successful offspring. She produced Landlord, victorious internationally under Achaz von Buchwald and Lars Nieberg, Lady Orion, victorious internationally under Andre Sakakini, Licori/M. Vinnichenko (UKR), successful at CSI4* level, and Cordela/P. Assmus, successful at S** level.
Further flagship representatives of this highly successful dam line are the licensed, internationally CSI5* successful stallion Quick Fire/M. Brinkmann (GER), the currently World Cup successful Darc de Lux/A. Schou (DEN), the international 1.60 m top sport horse and Nations Cup winner Carambole/W. Greve (NED), as well as the 1.60 m winning licensed stallion Cambridge/P. Brodhecker (GER).
