Description
Locan is an absolute rough diamond and, at five years old, is still one of our youngsters. He absolutely longs for a sensitive person by his side who responds to his needs and already has experience in training young horses. Locan is very curious, open-minded, and extremely people-oriented. He is an absolute cuddle bug – for him, there can never be enough petting hands. He is already familiar with work on the lunge and likes to show off his clever mind during groundwork. Of course, there is still a bit of youthful high spirits in him, and he wants to learn a lot in his new home and continue to be encouraged.
Due to an incorrect hoof correction, he has a misalignment in the front. However, with a good farrier, this can be gradually improved. In the warm months, the young gelding struggles with sweet itch, so a stable located higher up without standing water and without fruit trees would be ideal for him.
Locan absolutely wishes for an empathetic person by his side who already has experience in training young horses, brings a lot of patience and empathy, and continues to lovingly support him.
With his peers, Locan is very easygoing and sociable. He loves to romp around wildly and play to his heart's content. Therefore, in his new home, he absolutely wants a herd of geldings with many friends to play with.
Locan will be placed in a stable with an open barn or in a night box with daily turnout.
