Description
We are looking for a new, suitable home for our Fieke with a heavy heart.
Fieke has been with us in the riding school for about two years and has brought us a lot of joy during this time. She is a pretty, bright, and talented pony mare with a lot of potential.
What Fieke brings with her:
11 years old
brown pony mare
knows the riding school routine
good-natured and uncomplicated in daily handling
safe on the trail
knows the riding arena and indoor arena
knows pole work and jumps
versatile
compatible with open stable and herd life
accustomed to 24/7 pasture turnout in summer
uncomplicated when it comes to feeding
However, Fieke is not a classic beginner's or pure school pony.
In the riding school, we have noticed that she does not always cope well with the constant change of different riders. Out of insecurity, she may occasionally bolt. For inexperienced riders, this can naturally be unsettling.
With a consistent person, clear leadership, and a trusting relationship, we see significantly more potential in Fieke. Therefore, we wish for a person who enjoys working with her further and giving her security.
Another important point: Fieke has sweet itch. In high summer, she has unfortunately rubbed off parts of her mane and tail, but not to the point of being sore. This should definitely be taken into account when making a decision. Otherwise, she is uncomplicated when it comes to feeding and is accustomed to species-appropriate housing with plenty of exercise and social contact.
We are not looking for a quick home for Fieke, but the right place where she is understood, encouraged, and loved.
Anyone looking for a pony with character, eagerness to learn, and development potential, and who is willing to engage with Fieke, could find a great partner in her.
