Description
Yuman is a handsome, large-framed, and powerfully built English Thoroughbred gelding, born in 2014, with a height at the withers of approx. 165 cm. This charming gray not only impresses with his presence but above all with his lovable character and versatility. Yuman raced successfully until the age of five, earning a total of around 260,000 EUR. He was then carefully retrained as a leisure horse and is now a motivated and reliable partner for varied trail rides. He goes well in all three basic gaits. While classical arena work tends to bore him, he truly comes alive out on the trail. There he shows motivation, endurance, and joy in his work. That is why he could also be excellently suited for endurance riding or hunting. Yuman has a sensitive, empathetic, and very people-oriented character. He is friendly, balanced, and sweet to handle, enjoys learning, and shows no bad habits. Due to his sensitivity, however, he is not a beginner's horse. He wishes for an empathetic rider who appreciates Thoroughbreds and knows how to make use of their special qualities. In daily handling, Yuman is uncomplicated: he is good with the vet and farrier, loads without any issues, and is regularly vaccinated and dewormed. He currently lives in an open stable, where he is very comfortable, and should preferably move to an open stable again. He is also familiar with box and pasture keeping. In mixed herds, he is extremely sociable and even takes loving care of younger horses. The gelding had a tendon injury in the past, which has fully healed. He was never lame from it and now shows a very robust constitution. For health reasons of his owner, this special gelding is now looking for a new, appreciative home where he can continue to enjoy many wonderful hours with his human.
