Expressive loving children's pony
Shetland Ponies, gelding, 18 years, 93 cm, skewbald
€850 · Negotiable · Siegen
Description
Our beautiful Shetty gelding Henkie has been with us in our riding school for 4 years now.
He is now 18 years old, but still enjoys excellent health.
Since our younger Shetty prospects are now trained enough to be used full-time in the riding school, Henkie can slowly look toward retirement.
He can of course still be ridden.
Henkie is ridden with us both free and on a lead in the arena, in the woods, or in the indoor school. With his previous owner, Henkie also drove in a carriage.
Henkie had a bout of laminitis before we bought him. In the 4 years with us, he has had absolutely no problems with it. However, he also had no access to fresh grass with us. This should be considered.
He lives with us in a mixed Shetty herd in a loose housing barn, but he also knows box stall keeping.
• Henkie is 18 years old
• approx. 93 cm tall
• free of sweet itch
• electric fence safe
• well-behaved for farrier and loading
