Description
The stunning 13-year-old Rheinländer gelding Cordino came to our horse rescue last summer after his previous owner had to part with him with a heavy heart for personal reasons.
With an impressive height at the withers of approx. 180 cm, he is an imposing presence, but anyone who gets to know him quickly realizes: inside this large body lives an incredibly gentle soul. Cordino is a true charmer who wins hearts with his particularly lovable and people-oriented nature. He loves cuddle sessions above all else, enjoys every form of affection, and always approaches his people gently and kindly. Unfortunately, this handsome gelding comes with some health challenges. Among other things, he suffers from gastric ulcers and therefore requires regular medication support. He also reacts sensitively to changes, which can quickly cause him stress. That's why a stable environment with a calm, reliable herd of horses—ideally with low-ranking mares—is all the more important for him. Due to his health limitations, Cordino is no longer rideable. However, he greatly enjoys relaxed walks in nature and quiet groundwork. For Cordino, we are looking for an experienced, empathetic person who approaches him with patience, calm, and understanding, and gives him a sense of security. Ideally, his future owner already has experience dealing with gastric ulcers and enjoys exploring the world with him from the ground. Cordino is fully vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. He will be placed in a loving home with a paddock box or night box with daily turnout.
