Description
Lucero del Cuero, born 2023, is a very appealing PRE gelding from our breeding Yeguada del Cuero in Kefermarkt (Upper Austria). He combines a sporty-elegant type with the typical charisma and presence of the Pura Raza Española.
In terms of lineage, he impresses as the son of our proven broodmare Azania II and our Calificado and Mejorante Doma Clásica stallion Zahonero XV (M.F. Escalera), which is reflected in his quality, his movement, and his interior.
Lucero shows himself to be exceptionally fine in his work, very willing to learn, and with great joy in every session together. At the same time, he brings courage, self-confidence, and a pleasant clarity of mind – qualities that make him a reliable partner in training.
He was gelded in early April 2026 and is well integrated into the herd. A calm, balanced demeanor is natural for him.
His correct, harmonious exterior as well as his good hoof quality underline his healthy foundation. Raised in a herd with plenty of exercise and year-round outdoor living, he is well accustomed to natural keeping conditions.
Lucero knows calm, trusting groundwork and shows himself friendly, cooperative, and people-oriented in handling.
A young PRE with quality, character, and charisma – a horse that brings joy in every task.
