Description
On behalf of a client:
Quira de la Merced…
…is a very friendly, people-oriented PRE mare with harmonious gaits and a solid foundation. Her height at the withers is 1.57m, but she appears more powerful and covers the ground excellently.
She is a very well-mannered and honest horse that gets along well with different handlers and changing riders. Under saddle, she has been backed and then used for breeding.
Her lineage includes two calificado-graded ancestors, and she primarily traces back to Yeguada Militar (State Stud) bloodlines. She has full ANCCE papers, has been in Germany for three years, and is well accustomed to all local practices. In June 2026, she gave her owner a wonderful, healthy colt in a special color, which can be seen on site and is also for sale.
Quira is currently being gently brought back into work. After her baby break, she would be ready for further training and new tasks. She is an excellent and uncomplicated (first-time) broodmare and is accustomed to both box and open stable housing in a herd.
Due to a summer eczema that is easily managed with regular care and appropriate protection, she is being sold well below her value.
Of course, she has been regularly dewormed, vaccinated, and presented to the farrier (barefoot).
