Glamour Girl Only FW is the daughter of the outstanding gray mare Geneve de Muze. She is the oldest and best proven sport mare among the offspring we imported from Joris de Brabander. Under Christopher de Brabander, she competed up to the international height of 150 cm and has already produced licensed stallions such as LE COULTRE DE MUZE, NAIROBI DE MUZE (in SO Celle), JULE DE LAUZELLE, as well as several internationally successful sport horses. She is the daughter of the world champion stallion VIGO D'ARSOUILLES by Philippe Lejeune (BEL), granddaughter of the no less outstanding Nabab de Reve, and great-granddaughter of the multiple world champion stallion Quidam de Revel, who is among the best show jumping sires.
The mother of Geneve is a daughter of the Holsteiner Latano, who descends from the legendary Landgraf I, which gives her the gray color. She also had a successful sport career – competitions up to 150 cm. Her full brother FD Parcival even competed at a higher level. In the following generations, we find Hanoverian horses with an above-average Thoroughbred percentage through the stallion Sudan xx.
The sire of the mare is Kasanova de la Pomme. The 2010-born brown Kasanova de la Pomme is currently at the peak of his sport and breeding potential. He is among the most outstanding representatives of the line of the stallion Der Loewe xx through the legendary Darco (Ludo Philippaerts). At the same time, he is also one of the most important representatives of the family of the mare Kerly, which is one of the fundamental pillars of the Belgian breeding program. Furthermore, his sire Bamako de Muze (Karline de Brabander), a former international GP jumper, is a representative of another great mare line – the mare Ifrane AA. The mother of Kasanova, the international GP jumper Everlychin de la Pomme, also had an equally spectacular career and is also the mother of the unfortunately early deceased BWP champion stallion Latour VDM.
At the age of 3, Kasanova was crowned champion of the BWP stallion approval. From the beginning, he attracted great interest from show jumping breeders worldwide. His oldest offspring has already participated in international GP competitions. Particularly noteworthy are: H5 Origi Horta, Obama van de Kwachthoeve, Kalimera van de Nethe Z, Pommery van het Ijzern Lindehof, Peanuts Horta, Oklahoma van de Zelm, and Olympic Merrethof. In recent years, over 10 sons of Kasanova have been approved at various stallion selections.
Intensive use in breeding does not prevent Kasanova from competing at the highest international level, where he is ridden by Koen Vereecke. The most important successes to date include the double victory in the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, the victory in Wiesbaden, as well as clear rounds in the GP 5* of Falsterbo, Hickstead, Dublin, and Rome. In the 2022 season, he was the best Belgian pair in the Nations Cups. In 2024, they were only one step away from participating in the Olympic Games in Paris and met all qualification criteria.
