Bargain: large dressage mare by Benicio x Destano
Oldenburger, mare, 5 years, 17.2 hh, chestnut
€17,500 · Berg
Description
Due to an unreliable buyer, an absolute bargain:
Rare eye-catcher of the highest class for sale:
Large-framed but compact, this dressage prospect delights anew every day:
She draws all eyes and dances with plenty of rhythm, impulsion, enough shoulder freedom and ground cover with a daily work ethic through the arena.
A horse that brings joy every day, is not spooky, has a stable temperament, and also enjoys a ride out in the countryside!
She is not at all mare-ish and is always friendly - even in handling!
She learns quickly, is equipped with plenty of forward drive and three very good gaits, and presents herself daily with the highest rideability.
Always uphill and focused, all paths in dressage sport are open to her.
The mare is still with the breeder, has never experienced anything bad, and comes from a sensational family.
Her sister was a serial winner in competition before going into breeding. The grandmother was also highly successful up to age 6 at M level; the three-quarter brother was already a Grand Prix winner at age 7.
Not much needs to be said about the sire:
Cellahos Benicio, the Belissimo son who was not only the Federal Champion of 6-year-old dressage horses but also achieved the best dressage result in Schlieckau at his HLP that any stallion has ever achieved. This was followed by numerous Grand Prix wins and placings. He also made a big name for himself as a sire of clear-headed, rideable dressage horses.
All horses from this maternal line are incredibly similar: all large-framed, very easy to ride, much uphill tendency, very rideable yet uncomplicated with a golden character!
Due to the owner's personal reasons, she is still a bit behind in her training level. She moves obediently in all gaits and is currently being ridden by a young amateur rider.
A horse with all doors open.
Due to a small sarcoid on the chest and the owner's personal reasons, being sold significantly below value.
18 very good X-rays are available.
