Beautiful broodmare - dressage - in foal by Grey Tonic for 4/27
Oldenburg, mare, 7 years, 17 hh, dark chestnut
€6,500 · Negotiable · Fürth
Description
Due to herd reduction, we are offering our Mia for sale. She is in foal for 04/27 by Grey Tonic.
The mare went into breeding with us because she had an injury as a foal (pastern fissure). This apparently led to a problem with the knee due to the lack of movement/strain. It was operated on shortly before yearling age. Therefore, she is not being sold as a riding horse. The mare moves without issues and is sound in the pasture.
She has produced two beautiful, correct, and movement-strong fillies (can be viewed).
Always in foal on the first attempt,
foaled without problems, good broodmare with plenty of milk. Mia was accepted into the studbook/Hanoverian with good scores. She is well-behaved for the farrier and loading, and is accustomed to both a stall and pasture/shelter.
Unfortunately, she has started cribbing here, but it causes her no problems, and the two young mares do not do it.
Bred to Grey Tonic in early May, took immediately, and pregnancy confirmed again with a second ultrasound.
