Loving, light-footed mare by Best of Gold
Oldenburg, mare, 8 years, 16.3 hh, chestnut
€15,000 – €20,000 · Damme
Description
Donni is a compact mare with a loving and people-oriented character. In handling, her character shows that she is well-behaved, calm, and considerate, while under saddle she is light-footed and willing to perform. Her movements, characterized by much rhythm, are comfortable to sit.
Due to lack of time, Donni has not yet been advanced far. She is on her way to A-level dressage, and is already learning lateral movements in trot as well as counter-canter.
Her character and the experiences with her siblings make this mare an ideal amateur, youth, and/or family horse.
Several siblings of Donni were sold shortly after being backed to amateur/youth riders and have been successful both in youth/amateur divisions and up to M-level. From the maternal line, further sport-successful offspring have emerged, including a half-brother to the dam placed in S-level dressage, and two other half-brothers to the dam successful in international jumping.
Training level: on the way to A-level dressage, beginning lateral movements in trot and counter-canter, knows horsemanship, double longe, free jumping
