Description
Rigamento OLD – A stallion personality of international importance in breeding and sport. Since 2011, Rigamento OLD has been among the top 2% of all German dressage horse sires according to the FN breeding value estimation. He proves that his exceptional qualities in terms of movement and impulsion are hereditary. His inspiring uphill canter and his always rhythmically secure, ground-covering, diligent walk are typical of Rigamento offspring. His offspring are homozygous for dark coat color. He successfully passes on his exceptional qualities as a sport horse to his sons and daughters. With Right Said Fred, he presents both his first licensed premium stallion and his first 30-day test winner. After Rigamento OLD won the Federal Championship qualifications at age five and six, he became the 2007 Oldenburg State Champion. As a member of the German team at the World Championship for Young Dressage Horses in Verden in 2007, Rigamento OLD placed seventh. At age six, Rigamento OLD was the most successful dressage stallion in Germany. The 2008 season was also under a good star: Rigamento OLD won the qualification for the Nuremberg Burg-Pokal in Aubenhausen with 71.10%. In 2014, Rigamento OLD and Dr. Katja Galmbacher, in addition to numerous placings in Intermediaire II, also won the Intermediaire II in Langen and were placed multiple times in Grand Prix. Rigamento OLD is one of the most influential and sportingly successful representatives of the R-bloodline - and thus a worthy carrier of the line of the great Rubinstein. In breeding, the now 18-year-old Rigamento is also considered a mare maker of special quality. Some of these mares themselves already have licensed sons. His offspring, successful up to S-level in sport, are considered particularly rideable. Well-known among them is the (licensed) Rigamento Royal, who is successful up to S-level with junior rider Franziska Nölken.
