Murgese, gelding, 8 years, 167 cm, Black

Description
-Oscar-
Oscar is an imposing Murgese gelding of baroque type, whose appearance you won't forget quickly.
With his strong, sturdy build, typical ram head, and a height at the withers of about 1.67 m, he embodies the classic line of this breed. Typical of the Murgese, Oscar has a calm, balanced temperament, while always being attentive and willing to work.
Behind his robust exterior hides a sensitive character – he is a fine fellow, very people-oriented and affectionate.
Oscar came to us in 2020, learned the young horse basics, and spent his youth up to the age of four and a half years on pasture.
In the winter of 2022/23, his training began on the lunge and in hand. Today he masters walk, trot, and canter in the arena and out on the trail, is traffic-safe, and proves reliable and versatile under saddle.
He responds excellently to voice commands and can be well controlled even from a distance, which makes him an ideal school horse.
Furthermore, he masters all lateral movements at walk and trot, as well as the beginnings of piaffe.
Oscar is perfectly mannered – leading, loading, and the farrier are no problem. Thanks to his pasture upbringing, he is electric fence-safe. The foundation has been carefully laid, and in capable hands he will become a true dream of a baroque horse.
X-rays are available and can be viewed upon request.
We are happy to assist you in planning a visit to his home region of Apulia, with the purchase process, transport to Germany, and a pre-purchase exam. We will provide further pictures and videos upon request.
