⸻
PRINCIPE is a Lusitano gelding born in 2019, now located in Germany, who is looking for a new, long-term home due to his owner's health circumstances.
A beautiful, movement-strong Lusitano with great charisma, versatile experience, and a very pleasant temperament in daily handling. Under saddle, however, PRINCIPE is not an uncomplicated "everyone's horse" – he is sensitive, demanding, and needs an experienced rider who can provide him with security, clarity, and consistent further training.
⸻
🤎 Lovely in handling – sensitive under the rider:
In daily handling, PRINCIPE shows a very pleasant side. He is sweet, people-oriented, and well-behaved, and he knows many different forms of activity.
Under the rider, however, his sensitive and more demanding side emerges. He needs an experienced, confident, and sensitive rider who can give him clear aids and trust and is willing to work with him continuously.
PRINCIPE is expressly not a beginner's horse, nor a horse you can just ride occasionally after long breaks. He wants to be kept busy and clearly benefits from regular, good work.
In the right hands, this is exactly what makes it exciting: He is attentive, willing to learn, and still has a lot of development potential.
⸻
🐎 Versatile experience & good foundations:
PRINCIPE has been kept busy in a varied way throughout his life and has spent a lot of time out on the trails. In terms of dressage, he has a solid basic training in walk, trot, and canter.
In addition, he knows:
✔ Trail rides & hacking
✔ Dressage work in the three basic gaits
✔ Groundwork
✔ In-hand work
✔ Long-reining
✔ Double longeing
✔ Liberty work
✔ Various trail obstacles
✔ Loading and transport
➡️ His very nice basic gaits and his physical capabilities offer a good rider an interesting foundation to further develop him in dressage.
⸻
🎯 The right rider is consciously sought:
For PRINCIPE, we wish for an experienced and ambitious horse person who enjoys a sensitive horse and is willing to truly work with him.
He needs a rider who is not unsettled when something doesn't work immediately, but remains calm, consistent, and secure in their riding.
He will therefore not be placed with beginners or insecure riders.
However, if you like exactly this type of horse and enjoy developing an existing foundation, you will get an exceptionally beautiful Lusitano with many possibilities and a truly lovely and honest character.
⸻
🩻 Health:
PRINCIPE has flawless X-rays available, which can of course be provided upon serious interest.
⸻
⭐ Conclusion:
PRINCIPE combines:
✔ Lusitano gelding, born 2019
✔ 1.64 m height at the withers – very pleasant size
✔ beautiful, expressive appearance
✔ very nice basic gaits
✔ lovely and pleasant in daily handling
✔ solid foundation in walk, trot & canter

✔ versatile ground work
✔ knows in-hand work, double longeing & liberty work

➡️ A special horse for an experienced rider who is not looking for a finished, easy-going horse, but enjoys consistently developing a sensitive and talented horse.
