Description
SILK — Lusitanian x Warmblood — Gelding 2022 — JOVIAN x XISTOSA
SILK is no ordinary KWPN. It is one of the few Lusitanian/Warmblood hybrids on the market – a genetic combination as rare as it is sought after. It combines the elasticity and power of the German Warmblood with the mental balance, hindquarter engagement and quick hip lowering typical of Lusitanos.
The result: A high-performance athlete in the arena and reliable across country. Neither too hot nor boring, but exactly the balance many riders look for but rarely find.
Lusitanian/Warmblood hybrids are beautiful, high-performance and reliable. Despite the significantly lower birth rate compared to pure Warmbloods, they are already present at international dressage competitions – proof that this genetics works at the highest level.
From exceptional bloodlines, a unique opportunity
Silk is by JOVIAN, an exceptional stallion: 2019 World Champion of five-year-olds with four tens, again World Champion of seven-year-olds in 2021. One of the most influential stallions in international dressage.
JOVIAN, KWPN-approved, has quickly established himself as a global reference, thanks to his spectacular movement, natural balance and ability to pass on powerful gaits, excellent hindquarter mechanics and remarkable collection ability. His offspring are now particularly sought after in high-performance sport.
On the dam side, XISTOSA brings the strength, solidity, quality in the canter and the mental nature of the Lusitano, making this cross an expression of generous, accessible horses that are durable under the rider.
