Pretty hardworking Icelandic mare for leisure
Icelandic horse, mare, 8 years, 136 cm, pinto
€11,000 · Negotiable · Regenstauf
Description
Galdramey is an 8-year-old mare who convinces everyone with her curious and hardworking nature. Galdramey was born in Austria and grew up with us. On her mother's side, she also brings a high-quality lineage – the father of her mother is the famous Klettur frá Hvammi.
Galdramey has a five-gaited disposition and is diligent and fine to ride under saddle. She has a lot of tölt in every situation, even short stretches without reins, a good walk, a lively trot that becomes more secure with better balance, and a canter that springs uphill in the terrain and improves with more balance. Galdramey currently goes barefoot without issues.
Especially noteworthy is her quite brave and hardworking nature as well as her endless tölt: both in the arena and in the indoor school, Galdramey presents herself diligently. With an experienced person, she enjoys going for walks and increasingly longer rides alone as well as with a second horse. She can also be ridden well with a bitless bridle. Due to her hardworking nature, she is not a beginner's horse but suitable for experienced, sensitive riders. Because of her size, she tends to be suitable for smaller riders (max. 5'7").
In daily handling, she shows herself as a friendly and curious personality.
With her striking beautiful color and elegant build, she is also a real eye-catcher visually.
A versatile partner for sensitive riders looking for a horse for leisure with a brisk forward, fine aids, and a curious, friendly character.
