Bodi is an absolute fun and reliable horse – in daily handling, in the riding hall, on the oval track, as well as dependable and calm out on the trail. He impresses with his balanced character and his quiet, honest nature.
He shows four clearly separated gaits, is solidly trained, and also forgives a rider's mistake now and then. Particularly noteworthy are his easy-to-ride tölt and his "rocking horse canter." The tölt is comfortable to sit, easy to call upon, and so uncomplicated that even riders with little experience can tölt him safely. You could say Bodi has almost endless tölt, which provides tremendous fun and comfort.
His canter is also especially worth mentioning, because it is so soft and well-spring that even the smallest riders can sit and ride it effortlessly.
Thanks to his reliable nature, the beautiful chestnut is the ideal family horse or beginner horse – suitable for children as well as adults, right up to dad. He always gives his rider a high degree of safety and confidence and turns every ride into a relaxed experience.
We are aware that for a gelding, lineage plays no role in breeding. With Boði, we still want to mention it, because his highly tested ancestry shows in black and white what an incredibly great riding horse he is.
An absolutely honest, relaxed gelding for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable-to-ride Icelandic horse to enjoy and learn from.
Boði has already reliably carried children and, due to his patient nature, is also suitable for therapeutic use.
Anyone who would like to meet and try the handsome gelding is welcome to do so by appointment at our place in A-4962 Mining.
