Sire Faber-Castell drew all eyes at the 2024 Oldenburg licensing. This KWPN stallion from the high-class lineage of Fynch Hatton - Charmeur - Voice impressed with his expressive presence and an impressive side profile. In his elegant, dark coat, Faber-Castell presented himself with great presence and charisma – a stallion that immediately captivated the viewer. The direct maternal line of the young stallion also brings additional quality: it produces Grand Prix horses such as Dickens by Jazz (Virginie Gauthier/FRA) and Hernando by Bretton Woods (Esther Mortimer/CAN). The mare line, the famous Iana line, is also filled with successful horses at the highest level – including Ferro by Ulft (Coby van Baalen/NLD), Victor by Gribaldi (Michael Barisone, USA), and Elegance by Negro (B. Ferrer-Salat, ESP).
Maternal sire San Amour was among the top ten best dressage sires in the world for a long time. He produced numerous offspring in international top sport, including Olympic and European Championship participant West Side Story OLD/ Estelle Wettstein/SUI. In Germany alone, over 50 of his sons were licensed, including champion and premium stallions. Over 220 San Amour daughters have been awarded the title of state premium mare in various breeding regions.
The foal itself convinces with three good basic gaits and a very likeable demeanor.
