Description
Overgaard's Zakarini - large-framed Danish Warmblood mare with top-class dressage pedigree
Overgaard's Zakarini (05/18/2020) is an elegant, large-framed Danish Warmblood mare with a height at the withers of approx. 1.75 cm.
With her sire Zack, she carries one of the most successful dressage bloodlines in Europe. Through Rousseau, Jazz and Ferro, she combines high-performance Dutch top bloodlines known for rideability, quality and international sporting success. On her dam's side, she also brings the best prerequisites for sport and breeding with Solos Carex and the noble bloodline through Paganini xx.
Zakarini was gently lunged as a three-year-old. Afterwards, we consciously decided to give her more time to mature due to her size and development. She was therefore not backed, but due to her age and physical development, she brings the best prerequisites to start training gently now. Thus, she is suitable for both ambitious leisure riders and dressage sport.
Her quality as a broodmare is particularly noteworthy: despite her young age, she has already given birth to two healthy foals without any problems and raised them lovingly. Both the pregnancies and the births were completely uncomplicated. This makes her equally suitable for further breeding as well as a sporting career.
Zakarini is an expressive mare with great potential, excellent pedigree and versatile uses. She is being sold solely due to our herd reduction.
