JOUVAS
Camargue, stallion, 29 years, 14.3 hh, gray
€1,000 · Wesel
Description
Jouvas was carefully started in work at 4 years old and has been trained very carefully and slowly.
He has a very friendly nature, but is quite prominent in his presence. He impressively passes on his size, his rideability, and his joy in work to his offspring.
All foals have been premium awarded so far, and we are delighted with his licensed sons Uranus, Voyou, Earl, and Fabian, as well as his state premium daughters Tres Jolie, Cassiopeia, Danae, and Florence.
Jouvas has been successfully shown by my daughter in jumping courses at tournaments up to L level, and he has wonderfully accepted his dressage training with lovely piaffes, lateral movements in trot and canter, always enthusiastically. He was trained in cattle work and earned me my cattle certificate. His engagement at fairs and events is still unmatched today. This horse is a GIFT and runs for me with incredible energy, even for hours if necessary.
I find all these qualities in his children. Also his physical and mental strength, his will-to-please. But his children also show his consistent demand to be worked fairly.
His offspring can be viewed by appointment.
So far melanoma-free.
