Description
In June, the beautiful 22-year-old Bavarian Warmblood mare Gucci (height at the withers approx. 158 cm) found her way to us at the horse rescue. Unfortunately, her owner could no longer adequately care for the dear mare due to age and had to give her up with a heavy heart.
Gucci is a sweet, well-mannered, and finely trained mare. Whether in groundwork or under saddle, she always shows herself to be well-behaved and reliable. As an affectionate horse lady, she enjoys the company of her peers and likes to orient herself toward her pasture friend. Being out alone, however, she likes less.
Gucci was diagnosed with Cushing's disease with us. She therefore depends on her daily medication and will need it for life. For her future people, this means that reliable daily care as well as appropriate veterinary supervision must be ensured.
The dear Gucci enjoys excellent health. She is fully vaccinated, dewormed, and at 22 years old still full of zest for life. Now we wish for the charming mare a special place where she can spend her golden years in security, safety, and with plenty of affection. Gucci is looking for an empathetic person she can trust, who will give her the love, attention, and care she so deserves. Whoever wins her heart will gain a loyal companion who genuinely enjoys every little bit of attention.
In the herd, Gucci is uncomplicated and sociable. She gets along with both mares and geldings, taking a rather low to middle rank. In her new home, she would very much appreciate a night stall with daily turnout. During the summer months, keeping her in an open stable would also be possible.
