KLEPHOLMS IKARIOS
Arabian Partbred, stallion, 21 years, 158 cm, Cremello
€500 · Mörsdorf
Description
Klepholms Ikarios is a stunningly beautiful Cremello stallion who was bred in Denmark, but has been standing at Harlekin Arabians in Belgium for many years. There, he was also licensed as a premium stallion by the Belgian Arabian Horse Association. He has produced excellent offspring, including numerous premium mares and already 9 licensed sons! Among them is the ZSAA (Breeding Association for Sport Horses of Arabian Descent) premium stallion HAB Grand Coleur, who won the HLP in Marbach this year.
In addition to his wonderful character, Ikarios has much more to offer: a great deal of Arabian presence, lovely movements, and very good jumping style. Since he needed a stallion performance test in Germany for breeding use in the main studbook, we prepared him for it in 2015, and he completed it at the Rollehof with a score of 7.4.
The special thing about the Cremello color is the guaranteed lightening of the base color; when bred to chestnuts, he produces 100% Palominos, and bays are lightened to Buckskin.
Offspring can be viewed at our facility.
Stud fee for Arabian-bred mares: €700; for mares with up to 50% Arabian blood: €500. The stallion covers by natural service and with chilled semen of the highest quality.
Ikarios has been tested free of SCID and CA.
