Appaloosa, gelding, 15 years, 165 cm, Roan-Red
€4,400 · Negotiable · Kaltohmfeld
Description
Chico is an expressive Appaloosa with a striking appearance, a lot of presence, and beautiful movement.
He was laid down on 05/13/2026 and has been noticeably calmer and more balanced since castration. He is currently going back out to pasture regularly. For now, he is alone but has direct contact with other horses next door. This change is visibly doing him good.
Chico is a horse with character, energy, and charisma. He is not a beginner horse and is not suitable for inexperienced leisure riders. He has not been ridden for a long time and is currently not in riding work.
With patience, calmness, and an experienced, confident handler, Chico can develop very positively. He needs someone who gives him security, provides clear structure, and enjoys building up a special horse step by step.
What sets Chico apart:
- typical Appaloosa type
- striking color / roan blanket
- very expressive
- beautiful movement
- lots of presence and energy
- already calmer since castration
- currently not in riding work
- seeks experienced hands with patience and calmness
Chico is a horse for people with experience, time, and feel. He is not a finished riding horse, but a special type with a lot of potential.
The sale is due to age-related herd reduction of a horse stock built up over many years.
This is expressly not a distress sale.
