Children's competition gelding with many successes and ideal character
Andalusian, gelding, 14 years, 156 cm, gray
€15,000 – €20,000 · Menorca
Description
This 2012-born, purebred PRE gelding (Andalusian with ANCCE breed certificate) is the ideal partner for children with dressage and competition ambitions—or even adults for whom his size of 156 cm at the withers is sufficient :)
Born and raised on the small island of Menorca, he was ridden to 2nd place at the SICAB COPA ANCCE (World Championship of the PRE) and 4th place at the Spanish National Championship! That says a lot about his quality, and the special thing about it is that he was ridden by a child!
So if you are looking for a reliable, safe, child-friendly, and easy-to-ride equine friend, you have come to the right place with him.
On a double-jointed water snaffle, he is very fine to ride, always listens to the voice, and always gives his all—without taking a false step.
He is so incredibly well-mannered that he even pushes his bottom into the track if he needs to poop under the rider, so that the first track stays clean. That also says a lot about him and how he was raised, because everything about him is simply right through and through, and you can always trust him even when dealing with children and inexperienced horse people.
On the lunge, he responds perfectly to the voice, without any nonsense and always well-behaved.
In handling, he walks nicely on the lead, stands like a statue for grooming and saddling, practically gives his hooves on his own, and also stands still without fidgeting when bathing. He is also easy to load, of course, after all the tournaments, both in a trailer and in a truck.
His owner has built a small horse paradise, and the gelding lives there 24/7 in an open stable, is trained several times a week to maintain balance, the horse physio comes several times a year, his teeth are of course done annually, and he is fully vaccinated and regularly dewormed.
As a competition horse, he was hardly taken out on the trail, but he is the typical reliable partner you can spontaneously get on without a saddle and only with a halter and ride around for fun in the arena.
You can see how well he is cared for from his great, even musculature, his shiny coat, and his flexibility under the rider.
Such safe horses are rare, especially when they are so child-friendly and suitable.
His location is Menorca.
Videos and pedigree available upon request.
Price commensurate with quality.
I am happy to arrange a pre-purchase exam, training, castration, transport, or even your trip on site if you come to see him in person. Details on my page or in conversation.
