Description
For personal reasons, we are looking for a new, suitable home for these two long-time companions. They will only be given away together, as they have been a well-coordinated team for many years. This is expressly not a distress sale. We are looking for people who can offer them a loving and responsible place where they can enjoy the next chapter of their lives. Cut Lilli Pine is a Quarter Horse mare born in 2003, palomino in color, with a height at the withers of about 145 cm. This very pretty, compact mare has a very sweet, people-oriented character. She is friendly, easygoing, and uncomplicated in daily handling. At the same time, she needs one or two steady, confident people to whom she can form a close bond and with whom she will go through thick and thin. About two and a half years ago, Lilli started coughing. Since then, she has only been given steamed hay and is kept on wood shavings or flax straw. With this management, she is completely symptom-free and does not require any medication. She is good with the vet and farrier, has been regularly vaccinated and dewormed, and is used to being kept in a box stall with daily turnout together with her buddy Woody. She is not familiar with open barn housing. Lilli was gently backed at just under four years old in the countryside and trained versatilely with a lot of love. She knows reining elements, has been shown, and was part of the Flack Attack show group at Eurocheval 2012 and 2014, as well as at Faszination Pferd, the Fohlenmarkt in Sinsheim, and other events. From 2018 to 2023, she was successfully active in endurance riding on ERF distances. She also knows how to stand in a Spanish walk, Christmas riding at the club, and multi-day trail rides in the Black Forest, the Palatinate, the Northern Vosges, and the North Sea in Holland. In the countryside and in everyday life, she proves reliable. She leaves the stable alone without any problems, is familiar with agricultural vehicles, dogs, and other everyday situations, and remains calm. She is sure-footed, has no fear of water, and always works cooperatively with a suitable rider. Lilli is not a pure beginner or children's horse. However, if she is led as a hand horse, even steady beginners or children can ride her relaxed. Her long-time companion King Barr Hollywood, called Woody, is a Quarter Horse gelding born in 2004, chestnut in color, with a height at the withers of about 146 cm. This handsome, compact gelding has an exceptionally sweet character. He is people-oriented, friendly, and enjoys his cuddle sessions very much. In handling, he is uncomplicated and easy to manage, but overall he is the more laid-back type. Due to a slight misalignment, Woody has developed some arthritis over the course of his life. This occasionally manifests in him being a bit stiff at the start, but he quickly warms up. He does not require any medication. He has a slight saddle habit, is regularly presented to the dentist, and of course regularly vaccinated and dewormed. He is also good with the vet and farrier, is easy to shoe and load, and is used to being kept in a box stall with daily turnout together with Lilli. He is also not familiar with open barn housing. Woody was backed at three years old and trained versatilely. He knows reining elements, has been shown, and was also part of the Flack Attack show group at various events. In addition, he has completed numerous trail rides in the Black Forest, the Palatinate, the Dutch North Sea, and on multi-day tours from station to station. He is currently still being ridden regularly by a horse share. He leaves the stable alone without any problems, is familiar with agricultural vehicles, dogs, and normal road traffic, and remains calm. He is sure-footed, but somewhat more skeptical of water than his buddy.
