Description
Flint combines the best of Performance & Foundation!
💎Are you looking for a real eye-catcher with a heart of gold, a solid foundation, and highly interesting genetics?
HEs Twisten Thunder – lovingly called "Flint" by us – combines top-class Reining performance lines with the legendary robustness of old Ranchhorse bloodlines.
An absolutely successful representative of the AQH, opening all doors both in sport and in ambitious Foundation breeding or as a reliable partner on the trail.
🧬 Highly interesting lineage
Flint brings the best of both worlds and impresses with a pedigree that perfectly combines athleticism and absolute toughness:
Sire: Twisten Two Step DR (by Dun It With A Twist)
His sire is an expressive Smokey Grullo stallion. He traces directly back to the legendary Dun It With A Twist and the all-time legend Hollywood Dun It. These lines are renowned worldwide for excellent rideability, outstanding athleticism, flat gaits, and the typical, cool "Dun It" mindset.
Dam: Brackets Tiger Bar (by Brackets Blue Apache) His dam is a genuine Hancock lady (US import) with about 9% Joe Hancock and nearly 90% Foundation blood. The Hancock and Foundation lines (including Blue Apache Hancock) are world-famous for their proverbial toughness, their strong-boned, robust substance, their powerful frame, and their reliable nerve strength in tough ranch daily work.
✨ Profile & highlights at a glance
Date of birth: 05/30/2026
Color: Grullo
Health: 6 Panel tested - 5-Panel test completely N/N.
MYHM tested as a single carrier (N/My).
Since many successful sport horses carry this status and remain symptom-free, this does not limit later use as a riding or sport horse with good management. Due to this finding, the foal is being sold below value/at a fair preferential price.
Estimated final height: approx. 156 – 160 cm (growing into a strong horse with a great frame)
Papers: Full AQHA papers (Certificate of Registration) as well as the DQHA equine passport are of course included upon departure.
🐎 Character, conformation & upbringing
Flint delights us every day anew with his stunning conformation and his cool and gentle character. He has a correct, stable foundation, a strong topline, a beautiful, fine head, and already now muscling in exactly the right places.
He shows enormous movement potential, very athletic and quick, and knows how to move.
His temperament: He is fearless, curious, extremely people-oriented, and learns the foal ABC playfully.
Upbringing: Flint grows up in an absolutely species-appropriate and well-socialized manner in the herd on our extensive mountain meadows and hillside pastures. This gives him the optimal physical and mental foundation for a long, healthy horse life.
