€800 · Düsseldorf
Description
Blackburn Buck Poco is a Quarter Horse stallion of the old type, who is double homozygous: BLACK and DUN. He has a very high foundation blood percentage, making him eligible for registration with all QH foundation organizations (between 96% and 100%). His foals will always have a special color, always have a black component and a wild color component in their coat color, and no sorrels or red duns will be produced. Buck comes from the sought-after Blackburn and Pretty Buck breeding line, whose descendants predominantly have the popular dun color. His ancestors were very successful in cutting, reining, and halter classes.
HERDA N/N, GBED N/G, PSSM N/N, HYPP N/N, MH N/N.
His sire, Blackburn Pretty Boy, is one of the last living grandsons of the great foundation legend Pretty Buck, whom Buck still has on his AQHA papers and who appears multiple times in his pedigree. He is a great-grandson of this outstanding sire. Additionally, he is double-bred Poco Bueno.
Buck is an uncomplicated, very brave stallion with a friendly temperament that nothing can shake. He is characterized by incredible calmness, which he also passes on to his foals. He is also registered for Paint Horse breeding.
